Kia Motability Scheme

One of the most important initiatives established by the UK government for the benefit of those with a disability, the Motability Scheme provides the opportunity for eligible motorists to exchange part or all of their mobility supplement for a lease on a new vehicle. Both Milton Keynes Kia and Bletchley Kia are proud to be supporters of the scheme, providing a wide range of vehicles that are suitable for adaptation.

At each of our dealerships, we have Motability experts on hand to help guide you through the application process and get you behind the wheel of a stylish new Kia that has been tailored to your needs. They’ll begin by checking your eligibility against the scheme’s criteria, primarily that you have at least 12 months’ allowance remaining on one of the following mobility benefits:

  • Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance (HRMC DLA)
  • Enhanced Rate Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (ERMC PIP)
  • War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
  • Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)

Following this check, they will be able to continue your application and handle all the necessary paperwork associated with the scheme. They will even arrange for any adaptations to be made to your vehicle before delivery.
