Design

All Shogun models are fitted with lightweight, minimum-size 18-inch alloy wheels that not only look good but help to deliver optimal fuel efficiency. The vehicle is crowned with roof rails too, offering optional load-bearing opportunities.

The Shogun can be selected in three or five-door form. The latter – long wheelbase (LWB) – model is ideal for large families or those with lots to carry, since it allows easy all-round access and features seven seats or a maximum of 1,120 litres of luggage space. The three-door – or short wheelbase (SWB) – version possesses a five-seat capacity, which is equally practical seeking adventure.

Engines and performance

A 3.2-litre 197bhp diesel engine powers the Shogun, delivering 440Nm of torque to get you over any terrain with confidence. Combined with the four-wheel drivetrain and a towing capacity of up to 3,500kg (LWB), it’s practical for almost any environment and load requirement. Meanwhile, fuel consumption is kept respectable meaning you can travel further between stops at the pumps.
